Transform forgotten textiles into wearable art! In this beginner-friendly upcycling workshop, you'll create a dramatic tie-on overskirt from a thrifted dress, tablecloth, or other reclaimed fabric. Discover creative ways to repurpose textiles while learning simple construction techniques and sustainable fashion skills. Your finished piece can be styled for Halloween, Renaissance festivals, Witch's Walk / Ride / Tea, fantasy events, cosplay, themed parties, or as a unique statement piece in your everyday wardrobe. Students bring one or more items to transform. Ribbon ties and basic notions provided. A curated rack of textile possibilities will be available for purchase
