In this class, we’ll create a variety of hand-built and sculptural ceramic pieces designed for both function and fun in your garden. Projects can include coil planters, herb garden stakes, bird baths, pollinator cups, and planter mandrakes. One part magic, one part making. Each week introduces new projects and techniques, with an emphasis on hand-building and sculptural methods. This class is intentionally paced to meet students where they are, allowing plenty of in-class time for building, decorating, experimenting, and following creative curiosities wherever they lead. Some students may use time to develop projects over an extended time, or others can bring home projects for detail work utilizing varied techniques

Class Fee: $250.00 and $45.00 materials fee

Materials fees are paid to instructor the first day of class.

Students will be guided through building their very own garden gnome using clay handbuilding techniques. All supplies will be provided for the class.
