No experience necessary! A three day workshop on how to use soft pastel to create basic landscapes. We will review materials, storage and framing. We will learn how under-painting and mark-making affects the mood and look of pastel painting. Learn how to render 4 main areas of landscapes in pastels: skies, trees, grasses, vegetation and water. We will then learn how to combine those techniques into effective landscapes. A supply list will be provided and some supplies would be available for an additional kit fee. Light lunch included.
